I stopped in to try a slice on Thursday and I have to say, these were by far the best two slices of pizza I have had in Asheville in a LONG time! The crust was lite and crisp, zero flop to the slice. The Grandma Slice was simply put, fantastic! And the slice of White Pizza I had was nothing short of amazing! There was a ton of ricotta cheese on it! It was everything I was looking for in a slice of white. The service was great, really fast and friendly! I had a chance to meet the new owner and he seems like a great guy who is on a mission to make great pizza. Really great food!

Best Pizza in nc ... by far.. great people that work there. Andy takes pride in everything he makes. The hours will soon get back to normal . But you should definitely come try the grandma's the pizza are made fresh and then the slices are heated in the brick oven to bring it back to its original life the grandma's is by far my favorite and many others . If you are in Asheville you need to stop in and get a piece of grandma's before you leave .for sure it ruined me on pizza they some times will deliver depending on ware

This is a bummer to write considering how much I genuinely loves favillas pizza. The order I received from the newly established michelangelo’s pizza was so beyond vile I do not know where to begin- I ordered a medium cheese pizza and asked for extra sauce… and I received a pizza that had approximately an inch and half of melted cheese on top of soggy “crust” with about a teaspoon of sauce hidden underneath. I heard bad things about the place but wanted to make an opinion for myself and respectfully.. that was a horrifying experience

A 16” pizza with pepperoni and ham. The pizza had very, if any, little ham on it, only in one slice from what I could tell. The half of pizza with the soggy bottom crust stuck to the bottom of the box and ripped the piece in half as I tried to pick it up. Only half the pie was edible.

This place is fantastic. Found it through Google Maps and have been telling friends and family about it ever since. This place is all about pizza. We ordered a couple slices of the Grandma style and a couple pepperoni and sausage pinwheels; both were amazing, but the pizza crust is what we haven't been able to stop talking about. It looks like Favilla's is mostly a takeout location, but we comfortably ate-in at one of the 4-6 tables. Most tables were taken but there were always one or two available when we were there. I will be back for a slice of the NY style
